Jesse Brock returns to FSF 3 for a catch weight bout with Eben Kaneshiro Nov 7th at Century Link Arena
Jesse Brock 18-8 and riding a win streak was given permission by the MFC to participate on Front Street Fights 3 November 7th card at Century Link Arena. Jesse Brock was slated to compete for the MFC bantamweight world title this October vs Anthony Birchak but the current champ (Birchak) ended up signing a new contract with the UFC and leaving Jesse without an opponent. The MFC decided that Jesse will compete against a yet to be determined opponent for the vacant belt in Janurary. We are pleased that the Maximum fighting organization is allowing Jesse to compete this November in front of his home town one more time. Jesse is ranked #38 in the world by www.fightmatrix.com and will look to continue his current streak when he faces an experienced opponent in Eben Kaneshiro at a 140 lb catch weight … Read More »
Challenger meets reigning bantamweight champ Birchak at MFC 41
By MFC Staff
Jesse Brock was surprised to learn he’s vaulted into the top 40 in the world, according to Fight Matrix.
He’s excited by that realization, but much more focused on being the number one bantamweight in the Maximum Fighting Championship. To make that happen, Brock intends on taking out reigning champ Anthony Birchak at MFC 41: All In.
Brock challenges Birchak for the belt on Friday, Oct. 3 live on AXS TV Fights from the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. The Boise, Idaho, product has flown under the radar for much of his career, while Birchak has stood out in the crowded ranks with his effervescent personality. It’s the biggest contrast between the two rivals who will clash in Birchak’s first title defense.
“Birchak is good so I suppose some of the hype … Read More »

BOISE– Professional mixed martial arts fighter Scott Jorgensen doesn’t get scared when he steps into the UFC cage to fight an opponent. However, he does get nervous when a friend does.
“For me personally, watching my teammates and my friends fight is more nerve racking than for me to go in there and fight,” Jorgensen said.
Jorgensen will be feeling the nerves on Friday night when his longtime friend Jesse Brock gets into the cage. Brock will be fighting in the main event of Front Street Fights at CenturyLink Arena. It will be his 26th professional fight, marking a long and for the most part successful career that he credits the start to Jorgensen.
Brock got into MMA after Jorgensen started his career. He went to a couple of his friends fights to show support, and came away with the desire to try … Read More »

Kevin Croom (14-4) vs. Jesse Brock (16-8)
Things don’t always go as planned. When Kevin Croom signed on for Maximum Fighting Championship 40, he anticipated that he would vie for the promotion’s bantamweight title, which is held by Anthony Birchak. However, Birchak has been forced out of the fight, leaving “The Hard-Hitting Hillbilly” with a non-title affair against veteran Jesse Brock.
Brock’s record is deceptively average at first glance. The Idaho native has 16 wins, but he has suffered eight losses in a career that spans nearly eight years. The list of opponents in those eight contests is the real surprise. His second loss came via submission against current UFC fighter Donald Cerrone. Brock served as reigning … Read More »
The Maximum Fighting Championship has sourced out a strong replacement to fill an injury void that has caused a change to the MFC 40: Crowned Kings lineup.
Due to a significant injury suffered in training, reigning MFC bantamweight champ Anthony Birchak is unable to fight on Friday, May 9 on the AXS TV Fights card emanating from the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. With Birchak out, “The Hard-Hitting Hillbilly” Kevin Croom (14-4) will now battle Jesse Brock (16-8) in a three-round title eliminator. Brock has been signed to a multi-fight contract.
“While other organizations would panic, canceling fights or moving their show date completely, the Maximum Fighting Championship staff just works hard like always and fixes things in the best way possible,” said MFC Owner/President Mark Pavelich.
“In a strange turn of events, it was Jesse Brock who’d been calling out Anthony … Read More »
