Former Boise State wrestling star Jesse Brock will return to CenturyLink Arena to take part in the main event of Front Street Fights V on Friday, May 15.
Brock will put his 19-8 record (4 KO, 12 submissions) on the line against Bendy Casimir (20-11, 4 KO, 12 submissions), a native of France. Brock posted victories inFront Street Fights I and Front Street Fights III. His third appearance in the Front Street Fights event will come exactly 364 days after his first appearance, a submission victory over Omar Avelar on May 15, 2014.
The co-main event will feature Chuck Fordyce against Idaho’s Darrell Flores. Each fighter has a previous match against Talon Hofman, who posted a victory in the co-main event of Front Street Fights II last August.

Jesse Brock 18-8 and riding a win streak was given permission by the MFC to participate on Front Street Fights 3 November 7th card at Century Link Arena. Jesse Brock was slated to compete for the MFC bantamweight world title this October vs Anthony Birchak but the current champ (Birchak) ended up signing a new contract with the UFC and leaving Jesse without an opponent. The MFC decided that Jesse will compete against a yet to be determined opponent for the vacant belt in Janurary. We are pleased that the Maximum fighting organization is allowing Jesse to compete this November in front of his home town one more time. Courtesy of MMA Junkie: In a key bantamweight contest, Brandon Hempleman (10-2) staved off the wrestling of Alexis Vila (14-5) in a few early exchanges and then battled back with crisp, aggressive kickboxing, to score a unanimous-decision win.
Vila missed on a few takedown attempts in the early going, but he quickly found success with a pair of overhands that landed flush. At that point, Vila seemed content to box for the remainder of the frame, and while he had success with powerful shots, Hempleman also found moments with a few well-placed punches and kicks of his own.
The action stayed busy in the second, as Hempleman picked up the pace with his kickboxing attack but Vila remained quick and looked to counter, as well. Both refused to back down, and they traded toe-to-toe for the entirety of the round.

It’s been a year full of ups and downs for Brandon “Hot Rod” Hempleman (9-2). Ever since losing his debut to Marlon Moraes, recovering from a broken leg, and then seeing fight after fight nixed due to various circumstances, the Idaho native has seen his share of setbacks. Regardless, the tenacious scrapper with an impenetrable spirit is focused on making a statement in 2014 and putting those obstacles in his rear view. FRONT STREET FIGHTS RETURNS TO THE FLOOR OF CENTURYLINK ARENA ON AUGUST 15TH FOR THE SECOND MIXED-MARTIAL ARTS EVENT IN THE SERIES!
Four professional fights have been booked for Front Street Fights, headlined by Nampa’s Colton Vaughn. Vaughn, 23, will fight Washington’s George Stork in the main event after being the co-main event in the inaugural Front Street Fights in May.
